Great food for a great school
We wanted to share an exciting update about our school catering provision. Following a thorough review, we are pleased to confirm that from 1st September 2026 our catering service will be delivered by Innovate IFG (part of Impact Food Group).
Our priority is to ensure that all pupils have access to high-quality, nutritious and appealing food that supports their wellbeing and helps them thrive throughout the school day.
This new partnership will bring:
• A wide range of fresh, high-quality meal options
• Greater choice and flexibility for pupils
• Faster service, giving pupils more time to relax and socialise
• An enhanced overall dining experience
Innovate IFG works with schools across the UK and has a strong track record of delivering varied menus that appeal to young people while promoting healthy eating habits.
Free School Meals provision will remain unchanged, and all dietary requirements and allergies will continue to be fully supported.
We will share further details ahead of the start of term to help pupils feel confident and prepared.

In order to keep our food appropriate and pupil-centred, we have formed a Menu Steering Committee which is made up of representatives from each year group and also receives input from the School Council.
Many studies have acknowledged the importance of proper and adequate nutrition in achieving academic success. Currently, (09/24) a cooked meal is £2.75 and our popular meal deal is only £3.00 and we provide a variety of dining options over four different outlets within the school. To give your child a freshly prepared meal and the best possible choice at lunchtime, please opt for school meals by Kings’ Catering.

Safety and Hygiene
We hold a 5 star rating from Environmental Health for our Food Safety and Hygiene Management System. All kitchen and serving staff hold food hygiene certificates and are fully trained on all our processes, including allergens awareness.
