Key Stage 3 Exams

Home | Exams | Key Stage 3 Exams

Exams can be daunting for pupils at any stage of your school career. Rest assured that teachers, welfare staff, and fellow students appreciate that this can be a stressful time. We are here to support you as you prepare and sit exams, as well as being available for you when you are waiting for and receiving your results. Please contact the welfare team if you have any concerns.

In Key Stage 3, exams are necessary to give you an idea of how you are doing in your subjects; to help you get used to working in a silent, focussed environment under a time pressure; and to help your teachers teach you well.

To prepare for your exams, we encourage a good revision routine, ensuring you get plenty of rest too, and remember to bring the necessary equipment (pens, pencils, rulers, and a calculator if needed) will all help you feel ready to do your best. In your preparation, remember being:

– ready

– responsible and independent

– methodical in your revision

– persistent

– self aware
