Resourced Provision

Kings’ School has a Resourced Provision for physically disabled pupils. The site is accessible, and pupils are fully integrated in the life of the school.

As with all pupils we ensure that they are supported to achieve personal academic excellence, enabling them to leave with a wide range of GCSEs.

We ensure that all their physical, social and emotional needs are met to a high standard, increasing their independence and their readiness for life after school.  We take care of the well-being of each pupil, recognising their individual personalities regardless of their life challenges and seek to ensure that they are given every opportunity to develop their own exceptional character.

We provide a safe, inclusive and accessible environment in which every pupil can thrive.  We run a wide range of clubs that are fully accessible, and pupils are included in sports day, and all other house events.

As a school, we blend accessible trips with specific activities for our disabled pupils. Each year, we take a group to Calshot activity centre, where pupils enjoy a range of activities suited to their needs. They thoroughly enjoy the chance to be away with their peers and they have the chance to try things they thought would not be possible. This increases their confidence and self-belief allowing them to follow their own path to success and unlimited ambition.
